A Strong 2nd Place Finish in Miami

In was late November when Michael Ramsey, Fourth Quarter's Music Production Director, made a connection with a representative of iStandard Producers Inc. iStandard was hosting one of their major producer competitions and they were interested in having the Fourth Quarter producers attend.

Knowing there wasn't much time but eager to have the major labels attending the event hear Fourth Quarter's production talent, he agreed to make the trip.  Ramsey gathered music from Fourth Quarter's leading producers and writers and headed to Miami not knowing what to expect.

The competition was unique in that the major record labels attending were the judges rather than the crowd to eliminate any bias.  At the end of the semifinal round Ramsey was receiving rave reviews from the labels who were dumbfounded by the big sound coming from the Fourth Quarter camp.

Fourth Quarter was chosen to move on to the finals on December 10th.  Fourth Quarter once again impressed with the creativity and diversity of sounds, however, a three year veteran of the event just managed to take the crown.  That said, the competition was no where near a loss for the Fourth Quarter Production team who
was stopped by the labels before leaving to make sure they had Ramsey's contact information.
